Will Army Of The Dead 2 Happen?
Army Of The Dead 2 Updates: Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas is an anime spinoff of the film Army of the Dead. The Netflix series will be a precursor to Zack Snyder’s live-action feature film, which will premiere in May 2021 on the streaming service. Despite the fact that Snyder and his wife and business partner, Deborah Snyder, are executive producers, Lost Vegas is directed by Jay Oliva, with Shay Hatten penning the animated series.
Snyder’s second zombie film, following his 2004 adaptation of Dawn of the Dead, is Army of the Dead. Before Army of the Dead even had a release date, Netflix decided to expand Snyder’s apocalyptic plot. The imaginary universe revolves around a group of mercenaries lead by Scott Ward, who embark on a vault heist in a zombie-infested Las Vegas.
At the time of writing, no release date for Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas has been set. Army of Thieves wrapped filming in late 2020, and the film is set to hit theatres in 2021.
Snyder is also working on an anime-style series based on Norse mythology for Netflix, in addition to Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas.
In comparison to the other titles in the franchise, the 6-episode series will go through a completely different production procedure. The coronavirus outbreak and the reshoots required to replace Chris D’Elia with Tig Notaro both contributed to the production schedule’s prolongation. So an early to mid-2022 premiere for Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas can be predicted.
Army Of The Dead 2 New Cast Members
In Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas, Dave Bautista reprises his role as Scott Ward, but he’s not the only one. Scott’s daughter, Kate Ward (Ella Purnell), as well as fellow mercenaries Maria Cruz (Ana de la Reguera), Marianne Peters (Tig Notaro), and Vanderohe, are all back (Omari Hardwick).
Christian Slater, Ross Butler, Yetide Badaki, Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Nolan North, and Ray Porter will all play new characters in the franchise. Joe Manganiello voices Rose, who will be playing the lead role in the series.
Lost Vegas will expand into the universe by presenting the outbreak’s early days, which Deborah Snyder described as the “official history” for some of the show’s main characters. The anime series intends to explore the science fiction elements around Zeus’s bioengineered DNA and his intended mission.
Scott and the other mercenaries risked everything to defend mankind in Las Vegas before the city was quarantined by the authorities.
