Stranger Things Enters the World of Smite

Stranger Things Updates: Stranger Things will enter the fight next month, turning the world of Smite upside down. The news surfaced this past Wednesday when the game announced its collaboration with Stranger Things on Twitter, adding, “Something is coming… Something eager for blood!”

The account suggested that the complete tale will be revealed during Summer Game Fest. The next day, the complete teaser for the game’s July Battle Pass was released, revealing that the game would feature iconic Stranger Things heroes and villains, as well as an arena layout inspired by the “Upside Down.” All of the show’s horrific adversaries are born in this mirror world.

When it comes to adversaries, fans of the show can play as the Demogorgon from Season 1 or the Mind Flayer from Season 3. Fans may also meet Hawkins’ heroes, like Eleven and Jim Hopper, who are featured in the past.

Season 1 Eleven and Hopper will be available for players to add to their list of heroes in the game. Those that pick the prestige route, however, will be able to play as Eleven and Hopper from Season 3, complete with Eleven’s “Battle of Starcourt” clothing and Hopper’s P.I. appearance.

Stranger Things Battle Pass

Smite is a free multiplayer game developed by Titan Forge Games that pits teams of players against one another in arena and conquest fights. Fans can choose from a variety of gods and mythical figures with varying skills to aid them in their quest for victory, however, Battle Pass has allowed for a wide range of characters to enter the arena.

This time around, not every Stranger Things character will be included in the game, with noteworthy exclusions from fans like Steve Harrington and Dustin Henderson, among others. Season 4 of the series has yet to be granted an official release date, despite the Battle Pass’s release on July 13. Fans have only had teaser trailers and news, like the debut of Eleven’s siblings, to tide them over until now.

Amybeth McNulty (Anne with an E), Myles Truitt (Queen Sugar), Regina Ting Chen (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Grace Van Dien (Charlie Says), and horror veteran Robert Englund are among the newcomers to Hawkins in Season 4.

The season will also explain how Hopper managed to survive the previous season, revealing a new side of the character. In the meanwhile, before the next season arrives, fans of the series can log on to Smite this summer and continue the journey with their favorite characters.

Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Priah Ferguson, Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, Maya Thurman-Hawke and Levon Thurman-Hawke.
