Black Summer Season 2 Updates: Karl Schaefer and John Hyams’ Black Summer is finally back with a new season. The series first aired in April 2019 with Jaime King starring in the lead role. The Netflix drama has a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is loved by fans all around the globe.

The show revolves around Rose, a mother separated from her daughter during a zombie apocalypse. It shows a team of special forces as they fight for survival during the deadliest hours of the apocalypse.

The newest addition to the series is set to premiere next month on the 17th of June on Netflix and will have a total of 8 episodes, just like the previous season.

Yesterday Netflix also released the official trailer for the second season. The second season will see the survivors from the pilot season facing dangerous militias and scavengers in battle with the dead and desperate in the cold harsh winters. The trailer portrays the fear and uncertainty of living through a zombie apocalypse quite well.

It depicts the cold-blooded challenges, horrifying events,s and unsettling characters that the survivors will have to face this season.

The core cast members would be reprising their roles this season. This includes King as Rose, Justin Chu Cary as Julius James, Sal Velez Jr as William Velez, Kelsey Flower as Lance, and Christina Lee as Kyungsun. Barbara Watson, Edison Morales and Erika Hau would also be seen playing Walsh, Manny, and Carmen respectively.

Although we do not have the official list yet, other new faces are also expected to join the cast this time.
